Description

The AWS annual Fishing Rodeo (Open to the Public) sponsored by local area businesses in the welding industry in conjunction with the American Welding Society - New Orleans Section will be held May 25, 2013. Launching will be out of the C&M Marina, Hwy 45 in Lafitte, La. Registration is 5 AM until. The Tournament hours are 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM. The cost is $25 per person until 4-1-13 and then it is $30 per person. The price includes food, soft drinks, door prizes, music, raffles and category awards, along with a voluntary $10 Calcutta. The proceeds will be designated for Welding Student Scholarship Program to refortify the depleted pool of qualified welders in the New Orleans and surrounding parishes.
